After months of planning we are now pleased to announce we have got our first adoptions up and running.
Cassandra the meerkat is one of the children in our family of meerkats, all being named after characters in the sitcom ‘Only Fools and Horses’ and for only £35 you can adopt her for an entire year. Adoption packs not only include your certificate to say you have adopted her you also get a cuddly toy Cassandra, a pin badge, a car sticker, fact sheet and a ticket to the zoo so you can come and visit her.
After the long year we’ve had, being shut to the public for most of it, adoptions will bring in some support to help look after all of the animals here at BCA Zoo from the Stick Insects to our largest resident Denzil the Cape Porcupine. We will however also be throwing our Meerkats an extra special birthday party which we will keep you all updated on.
Although at the moment meerkats are the only animal we have available to adopt in the future we will look at other species so people can choose their favourite.
