Meerkat Encounters

Say hello to our meerkat mob as you become their new lookout post! Your experience will begin with a quick health and safety briefing before heading off on a guided tour to explore the zoo. Once we have visited all the other animals, you will be taken into our meerkat enclosure along with one of our friendly staff members to meet and feed them.

This encounter is suitable for 7 years +.

This encounter will last approximately 90 minutes.

Sturdy closed-toe shoes must be worn to take part in this encounter. We do also recommend wearing long trousers and long-sleeved t-shirts as meerkats may scratch.

You are welcome to bring cameras with you to take photos however BCA accepts no liability for damage to goods.

We recommend ensuring you are up to date with your tetanus vaccinations before taking part in an animal encounter. It is your responsibility to check you are happy with the vaccination status of anyone in your party.

Child booking
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Each child booking automatically receives one free spectator ticket. You are permitted to purchase one extra spectator ticket per booking, totalling 2 spectators per child Spectator Tickets.
Adult booking
You are permitted to purchase one extra spectator ticket per booking. Spectator Tickets.
