Reptile Encounters
Reptiles at BCA Zoo:
Come and meet our reptiles and mini beasts and find out why our crawlies aren’t at all creepy. After taking a guided tour around the zoo to meet our zoo animals you will get the chance to meet and feed some of our more unusual residents including animals like our incredible Death Head Cockroaches, all kinds of weird and wonderful lizards and even one of our curious snakes.
This encounter is suitable for 6 years +.
Child booking
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Each child booking automatically receives one free spectator ticket. You are permitted to purchase one extra spectator ticket per booking, totalling 2 spectators per child Spectator Tickets.
Adult booking
You are permitted to purchase one extra spectator ticket per booking. Spectator Tickets.
If you wish to purchase additional tickets, we will do out best to accommodate, please email zoo@bca.ac.uk.
This encounter will last approximately 90 minutes.
You are welcome to bring cameras with you to take photos however BCA accepts no liability for damage to goods.
We recommend ensuring you are up to date with your tetanus vaccinations before taking part in an animal encounter. It is your responsibility to check you are happy with the vaccination status of anyone in your party.

Sessions cost £40 each. Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (encounter ticket includes one free spectator per child under 16). Children under 3 are free and don’t require a ticket.
